For the last couple of years, I have been dying to throw a hip-hop dance party for my birthday, but it had been impossible to find a place that was reasonably priced, would accommodate a large number of people PLUS allow me to play the music that I wanted. THE RED LOFT to the rescue! The large space, awesome lofty vibe, and the cool red motif made it the perfect place the party. There is a bar area that's perfect to set up drinks and PLENTY of room for dancing. Noise was NO problem, and we could (essentially) be as loud as we wanted and set up our ound sound equipment no problem. I could definitely see this as a perfect venue not only for a party, but for music or comedy show. The owner, Steve was awesome and very accommodating to all of our needs. Just to be aware, this is in a bit of a homeless area downtown, but it made parking a breeze and there were no issues. I would definitely recommend THE RED LOFT to anyone!
