In the coming months, eVenues will roll out a formal affiliate program
for online community networks interested in sponsoring "meet up" events
in their respective cities. Networks can be as formal as local networking
groups who sponsors a once a month get-together to as informal as a
once-a-year annual event. Here are some examples:
- A regional business networking community wants to provide their
users with the tools to host and schedule workshops;
- An online community for classic car aficionados interested in finding a
venue for their annual Concourse de’ Elegance car show;
- A local scrapbooking blog wants to organize a scrapbook
workshop that can hold 50 scrap bookers.
As part of our program, eVenues will work with affiliates to
understand their ideal venue profile, access requirements to
our venue list, and revenue share split.
We are currently talking with many Web 2.0 companies that have a goal of
sponsoring events for their communities. We are interested in talking
with other prospective networks in other markets about their requirements.
